Privacy Policy

Plain-English Summary: We collect only the information you provide to us directly (such as through our intake form) and standard technical data. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the service or comply with the law.

1. Introduction

OmegaLabz LLC ("Company," "we," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and users of the OmegaLabz Platform. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and your rights regarding your information.

By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue your use of the Platform.

2a. Information You Provide Directly — When you submit a research intake form, create an account, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Platform, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Shipping or mailing address
  • Research notes or protocol information you choose to share
  • Payment method preference (we do not store full payment credentials)
  • Order and transaction information

2b. Automatically Collected Technical Data — When you access the Platform, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and general geographic location (country/region)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns
  • Referring URLs
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

2c. Information from Third Parties — We may receive limited information from third-party service providers we use to operate the Platform (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors), consistent with their own privacy practices.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform; to process and fulfill research inquiries and orders; to communicate with you; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, sell your data to data brokers, or engage in targeted advertising to third-party networks.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may disclose your information to:

  • Service providers and vendors — companies that assist in operating the Platform (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, shipping logistics). These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your data to perform services on our behalf.
  • Third-party research suppliers — as necessary to process and fulfill your research inquiry or order.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities — when required by law, court order, subpoena, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transferees — in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and transaction records are generally retained for a minimum of 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your information subject to applicable legal requirements (see Section 8).

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential/functional cookies — required for core Platform functionality (e.g., remembering your theme preference)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your own devices.

  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations)

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on the Platform with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
